This conference is aimed at finding a specific connection between dance and digital music.
-What is the next step of interactive media and digital sound ?
-What will be the effective use of the sound for contemporary dance ?
Seek the new possibility of corroboration by individual presentations by professional artist.

A stage performance by REN NIKU KOBO(directed by Akira Okamoto), "Mizu no Koe(voice of water)" was produced 10 years ago and the music of real-time recording and real-time effect was used which was still new method at that time.It was a media performance consisted of sound sculpture, footsteps by the dancers and voice of the actors etc. Each sound was sampled in real time and soon after that, they were replayed as BGM.In the recent performing arts world, such pieces using projections and other digital effects are gradually getting attentions in each counties.
This conference and workshop will provide the place for professionals to present each idea and vision, exchange information and explore the new process of creation.
