飯名尚人・溝端俊夫
舞踊家・大野一雄を深く知る人物へのインタビュー撮影を通して、実際に残された記録映像と、インタビューに登場する風景・情景を、フィクショナルに映像化する試み。インタビューの言葉から作るダンスフィルムという手法を再考する。

身体と風景のための映像ワークショップ

映像で記録すること。そこに写っているもの。
身体と風景を、じっくりと撮影する。
普段どのくらいの時間、風景や人を眺めているでしょうか。どのくらいの時間、そこに立って撮影してい るでしょうか。撮影した写真や映像をどのくらい見るでしょうか。どのくらい自分の姿を鏡でみて、どのくらい相手の顔をみるでしょうか。
実際にビデオカメラで身体を撮影しながら、身体と風景について模索するワークショップです。さらに街の風景の中にある身体をビデオカメラで切り取ります。撮る側と撮られる側の身体感覚と意識について、みなさんと体験していきます。撮影した映像の編集も行います（premiere proを使用）。
対象：
・年齢・スキルは問いません。どなたでも参加頂けます。
・映像に興味のある学生のみなさん
・映像教育を授業に取り入れることに関心のある教員・指導者のみなさん
・ダンス・身体表現・映像に興味のある方
・ダンスを映像作品にしたい方
撮影機材、編集機材は用意します。
ご自分の機材を持参しても構いません。
講師
映像作家、演出家、プロデューサー。舞台とメディアのための組織Dance and Media Japanを設立、「国際ダンス映画祭」の主催、メディアテクノロジーとダンスを中心に海外からの招聘プロジェクトを多数行う。大野一雄舞踏研究所と共に『大野一雄ビデオアーカイブ』『洋舞インタビュー』のシステム構築、撮影、編集も手掛ける。東京造形大学特任教授、京都精華大学非常勤講師、座・高円寺劇場創造アカデミー講師、NPO法人ダンスアーカイヴ構想理事。
ダンサー/振付家。 幼少よりクラシックバレエをはじめる。主にコラボレーションを主としたプロジェクトにてダンサー、振付家として参活動している。 自身の作品では「猿婿ーTheface of strangers」岡山、京都、東京(第８回恵比寿映像祭公演2016) 「Ghostingー軌跡の庭」（JCDN踊りにいくぜセカンドvol.6 札幌、仙台、東京、松山、福岡公演）などがある。 2016年、第17回福武文化奨励賞受賞。

Video Workshop for Body and Landscape

The workshop will focus on the same content on both days.
Capacity: 15 people per day. Reservation required. Free of charge.
Recording on video, framing a shot. Filming the body and landscape with care and precision. How much time do you spend observing people and the landscape? How long do you stand while filming? How carefully do you examine photographs and im-ages you’ve taken? How long do you look at yourself in the mirror, how often do you look in detail at anoth-er’s face? By being aware of our physicality while holding a camera, this workshop focuses on the rela-tionship between the body and its surroundings, and also explores how to film the human body in an urban landscape. We will explore what it means to film and be filmed, while being conscious of the body and its presence in space. We will also devote some time to editing footage using premiere pro software.
This workshop is designed for:
· Anyone; age and skill are irrelevant
· Students interested in images and filmmaking;
· Teachers and instructors interested in introducing video education
into their classes
· Those interested in dance and performing arts as well as images;
· Those who want to create a dance video work.
Shooting and editing equipment will be provided for everyone to use. Please also feel free to bring your own equipment.
Naoto Iina:
Video artist / Director / Producer. Founder of Dance and Media Japan, organiser of the Internation-al Dance Film Festival, commissioned for numerous pro-jects abroad focussing on media technology and dance. In collaboration with the Kazuo Ohno Dance Studio, he is involved in the system construction of the Kazuo Ohno Video Archives and the photography and editing pro-cess for Interview About Modern Dance. He also lectures at the Tokyo Zokei University, and is a part-time lecturer at Kyoto Seika University and Koenji Theater Creation Academy, as well as a board member for the NPO Dance Archive Network.
Yuko Hirai:
Dancer / Choreographer. Having studied classical ballet at a young age, she now participates as a dancer and choreographer in collaborative projects. She performed her creation Sarumuko – The Face of Strangers in Okayama, Kyoto, and Tokyo (for the 8th Eb-isu Video Festival Performance, 2016) and Ghosting - the Locus Garden at JCDN Let’s Dance Vol.6 in Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Matsuyama and Fukuoka. In 2016, she received the 17th Fukutake Culture Encouragement Award.

記録映像からダンスをコピーする。
映像に残された他者の身体の情報を、自己の身体に写し込む。
「大野一雄について」は、舞踊家・大野一雄の踊りを川口隆夫がコピーした舞台作品です。残された記録映像から踊りを「コピー」という手法で読み取り、踊り直します。このワークショップでは、「大野一雄について」の創作過程で実際に行ってきた方法を参加者のみなさんと行います。
大野一雄の初演記録ビデオ（抜粋）を見て、その踊り／動きを「コピー」することを試みます。細かな小さな動きや、身体やその周りに生成する空間の連なり、意識・無意識を問わず、つまづきやズレに至るまで細部を細かく観察し、あたかも身体を彫刻するように、「形」を自分の身体へと写しとっていきます。
ビデオを見ながら作業しますので、参加者はビデオ再生のできるデバイス（ノートパソコン、タブレット、スマートホンなど）を持参してください。

1977年に上演された大野一雄の舞台「ラ・アルヘンチーナ頌」のオリジナル記録映像を上映。土方巽が演出した大野一雄の舞台は、土方巽のアイディアと、大野一雄のダンステクニックが見事に融合した傑作である。大野一雄71歳の時のソロ・リサイタルを記録した貴重な映像。近年マスターテープが発見され、新たにデジタル化されたデータでの上映。

Taking the impression of a body left in film and reflecting the image onto one’s own.
About Kazuo Ohno is Takao Kawaguchi’s creation for stage based upon a reworking of the Butoh mas-ter Kazuo Ohno’s dance. He interprets Ohno’s dance by watching archival images, using a “copy-ing” technique to replicate them on stage.
In this workshop, Kawaguchi will share his insights with participants about the methods he used in his creative process.
Participants will examine excerpts from Ohno’s vid-eos and seek to “rework” that dance / movement. No matter how small the movements, we create a series of spaces around the body and its surround-ings, either consciously or unconsciously. These de-tails will be observed in the archived footage - every stumble and lurch - and sculpted to create a new bodily “form”.
Given the process involves observing the recorded images, participants should bring devices that can re-play video (lap-top computer, tablet, smart phone etc.).

Admiring La Argentina
(70 minutes Video Information Center / Repository: Keio University Art Center Archives)
The original recording of Kazuo Ohno’s perfor-mance Admiring La Argentina in 1977. Directed by Tatsumi Hijikata, this masterpiece fused Hijikata’s aesthetic concepts with Ohno’s dance techniques. These priceless images were recorded during Ohno’ solo recital when he was already 71. The master tape was discovered in recent years and screened in a newly digitized version.
Takao Kawaguchi:
In 1996, he joined the performance group Dumb Type, and started making solo performanc-es in 2000. About Kazuo Ohno premiered in 2013, received accolades worldwide and was nominated for the Bessie Awards. He was the director of the Tokyo Interna-tional Lesbian and Gay Film Festival (1996-99); translator of the British experimental film director Derek Ger-man’s Chroma (2003); appeared in the short film Kingyo directed by Edmond Yang, officially selected for the 2009 Venice Film Festival.

大学教育の中で、映像と身体の授業はどのように実施されているのか。ダンス経験者に向けての映像教育や、ダンス未経験者の向けて映像を使った身体のアプローチなど。大学にて映像と身体に関する授業を実施しているアーティストが、実際に行われている授業のモデルケースをプレゼンテーションしながら、今後の映像と身体の教育の可能性を探ります。

プロフィール
振付家、ダンサー91年、寺田みさことダンスユニットを結成。02年、「TOYOTA CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD 2002」にて、「次代を担う振付家賞」（グランプリ）、「オーディエンス賞」をW受賞。04年、京都市芸術文化特別奨励者。08年度文化庁・在外研修員として、ドイツ・ベルリンに1年滞在。近年はソロ活動を中心に、ドイツの障がい者劇団ティクバとの「Thikwa+Junkan Project」、京都・舞鶴の高齢者との「とつとつダンス」、宮城・閖上（ゆりあげ）の避難所生活者への取材が契機となった「猿とモルターレ」等を発表。著書に「老人ホームで生まれた〈とつとつダンス〉―ダンスのような、介護のような―」（晶文社）。立教大学 現代心理学部・映像身体学科 特任教授
ダンサー、パフォーマンスアーティスト、振付家 黒沢美香&ダンサーズを経て、1990年よりアーティストグループ・ダムタイプのメンバー。 ダムタイプの90年以降のパフォーマンス作品全てを共同制作しパフォーマーとして出演。パフォーマンス [pH] [S／Nのためのセミナーショウ] [S／N] [OR] [memorandum] [Voyage] である。 ダムタイプでは、常に映像と身体の関わりを意識して製作。 ダムタイプと並行して、The OK GIRLS、The Bitersなどパフォーマンスユニットを立ち上げる。 ライフワークの一つにライブインスタレーション作品「むせかえる世界」がある。 ダムタイプチルドレンであるシンガポールのChoy Ka Fai とも映像と身体を意識したパフォーマンスを2本製作。 他方、長年ナイトクラブでもショウ形式で国内外で活動している。ショウネームは、C.Snatch Z. (スナッチ)。

1987年山口県生まれ。日本女子体育大学舞踊学専攻卒業、東京藝術大学大学院映像研究科修了。近年の主な展覧会に、「めがねと旅する美術展」（青森県立美術館、島根県立石見美術館、静岡県立美術館、2018-2019巡回）、「Primal Water」（Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art、ラスベガス、アメリカ、2018）、「ほったまるびより―O JUNと吉開菜央」（Minatomachi Art Table Nagoya、愛知、2016）、「呼吸する部屋」（AI KOWADA GALLERY、東京、2017）など。受賞歴に文化庁メディア芸術祭エンターテイメント部門新人賞受賞（2015）、YCAM架空の映画音楽の為の映像コンペティション最優秀賞受賞（坂本龍一氏推薦、2013）、那須国際短編映画祭観光部門出品じゃらん賞受賞（2013）。2019年3月10日まで「オープン・スペース2018 イン・トランジション」（NTTインターコミュニケーションセンター[ICC]、東京）にて《Grand Bouquet／いま いちばん美しいあなたたちへ》（2018）を出展中。

Teaching images using the body
How are video and performances courses inte-grated into the university curriculum? What should be the image education for dancers, and body approach using images for non-dancers? Artists conducting video and body classes at the university will present a model case of the les-son being conducted and explore possibilities for future video and physical education.
